Thinking about summer travel and wanting to hit as many Balkan parties as I could, I researched the Gypsy or Balkan music festivals in Europe and US for the next few months.  Here’s the list I came up with.  If you know of any other ones please let me know.

Schlachthofbronx’s Ayoba has made big waves on the dancefloors and music blogs in the past few months. Here’s the Shazalakazoo version adding some Balkan brass band flavor into an upbeat, smashing remix.

A trip through the Balkan club scene, Duch DJ mps PILOT’s Balkan Bash features a great mix of classic gypsy tunes, Bulgarian chalga, Serbian turbo-folk and hard-to-find remixes of well known West European DJs.
